More than just applying a “pretty face” to a publication, I truly care about the content and work to understand the message and point-of-view of each publication so that I can create a design that is cohesive in its delivery and faithful to an organization’s over-arching marketing strategy.
I value the beauty of typography and understand its importance in conveying messages and creating a hierarchy of information. The total experience of a printed piece is also important to me—not just how it looks but how it feels in your hand, if it’s created in an environmentally-responsible way, how it will be opened and read, whether it’s sturdy enough to arrive safely in the mail. Having strong relationships with local printers helps me ensure that the end product is innovative, promptly delivered, and cost-effective.
