The Early Republic website, managed by Johns Hopkins University Press, will host 17 volumes of primary material documenting the actions, debates, and thoughts of the First Federal Congress and its members. Comprising 17,000 annotated pages and 250 images, the innovative online reference features a cumulative index and robust search engine. I designed the identity and interface for The Early Republic website and developed a series of XHTML 1.0 Strict, validated, and accessible templates for the Press staff to use in development of the website.
